Why "Ordinary"?

The Bible has always been interested in the people least likely to do the greatest things for God. David was tending sheep. Gideon was looked down upon. Peter and John were fishermen. Over and over, God finds the ordinary man and, through His Spirit, does extraordinary things through them.

What I Saw in Myself

I graduated college with a sub 3.0 GPA. Spent most of my adult life feeling pretty average on a lot of levels.

But my father and grandfather weren't the smartest men in the room. Their faith was the biggest separator. They came on their knees. They came in faith. I watched it be true in my family across generations. That's not a cliché — I've watched it happen.
